Le Collectif des Ex-Détenus Politiques et victimes des évènements de 2021-2024 (CODEPS) annonce dans un communiqué de son comité de pilotage publié ce mercredi 08 juillet 2026 n’avoir reçu à ce jour « aucune invitation officielle » de la présidence, qualifiant ainsi de « simples spéculations » les rumeurs faisant état d’une rencontre imminente entre le chef de l’État et l’organisation.
Le CODEPS précise qu’il a déposé une « demande d’audience officielle auprès du président de la République ». Cette démarche, datée du 29 juin 2026, a pour objectif « d’échanger avec les plus hautes autorités sur les préoccupations majeures des ex-détenus politiques et des victimes ».
L’audience sollicitée vise principalement à aborder « la situation des victimes souffrant de graves problèmes de santé et les difficultés qu’elles rencontrent pour accéder à une prise en charge médicale ». Le collectif entend également soumettre à l’autorité « le cas des étudiants dont les études ont été compromises ou interrompues à la suite des événements politiques ». Les autres points inscrits dans cette requête concernent « la réhabilitation des victimes, la réparation des préjudices subis », la situation des familles des martyrs et la justice.
Le comité de pilotage déclare que la structure « demeure ouvert à toute initiative sincère allant dans le sens de la justice, de la réparation et de la dignité des victimes ». L’organisation s’engage enfin à informer ses membres et l’opinion publique des suites qui seront accordées à cette démarche.
