Quatre jours après le spectaculaire braquage de l’usine de la Compagnie de distribution alimentaire (CDA), à Sébikotane, les enquêteurs poursuivent activement leurs investigations pour retrouver les membres du commando impliqué dans cette attaque survenue dans la nuit du 15 au 16 juillet.
D’après les informations rapportées par L’Observateur, les assaillants, équipés d’armes de guerre, ont agi avec une organisation qui laisse penser qu’ils disposaient d’une parfaite connaissance des lieux. Après avoir maîtrisé les agents chargés de la sécurité, ils se sont dirigés directement vers les installations sensibles de l’usine, notamment la salle où est conservé le coffre-fort. Ils auraient ensuite quitté les lieux avec un important butin, dont la valeur n’a pas encore été communiquée.
L’alerte donnée par des habitants du secteur a permis une intervention rapide de la brigade de gendarmerie de proximité de Sébikotane. Des renforts de l’Escadron de surveillance et d’intervention (ESI) ont été dépêchés sur place, donnant lieu à un échange nourri de tirs avec les braqueurs. Malgré la pression exercée par les forces de sécurité, les malfaiteurs sont parvenus à échapper au dispositif.
Lors de cette opération, quatre gendarmes ont été blessés après que des projectiles ont frappé le pare-brise de leur véhicule, provoquant des éclats de verre. Selon le journal, leurs blessures ne mettent pas leur vie en danger et trois d’entre eux ont déjà regagné leur domicile après leur prise en charge médicale.
Pour faire avancer l’enquête, le Haut commandement de la Gendarmerie nationale a renforcé le dispositif en associant la Section de recherches (SR) de Colobane ainsi que le Centre de lutte contre les criminalités numériques (CLCN) aux investigations. Plusieurs employés de la CDA ont déjà été auditionnés, tandis que les enquêteurs analysent différents éléments et privilégient plusieurs pistes afin de remonter jusqu’aux auteurs de cette attaque.
